Queer Sport Split is a space of acceptance, support and development focusing on the local LGBTIQ community. Therefore, in our organisation we offer free of charge psycho-social support, psychological interventions, emotional and peer support, hate crime and discrimination victim counseling and support.
In a safe environment and with professionals, our community members are offered to receive all the necessary support to resolve or cope with various life situations, problems and challenges that one faces as LGBTIQ +.
We care about your confidentiality, respecting all the diverse needs of our community members, same as valuing protection of your identity.
Some of the problems that our Counselling Centre could support you with are:
support in the coming-out process
effective problem or conflict resolution
support related to one's gender and gender identity
supporting parents of LGBTIQ + people in the form of acceptance and understanding of gender identity and sexual orientation
working with traumatic experiences related to psychological, physical or sexual violence in childhood and adulthood or any traumatic experiences
working on self-confidence
problems related to impulsive or aggressive behaviours
